Poor Peanut. She's been at the shelter since July 2009 and is so very confused about why she is there. Peanut is DECLAWED which makes life there even more difficult for her. With the sound of dogs and all the goings on, Peanut's insecurity without her claws will often get the best of her and although she wants so badly to be petted and fused over, she won't let you do that for too long before she gets nervous and backs away. Peanut needs a home with someone who understands that her behavior is caused by her missing her claws. We think she'll be just fine in a new home but, she'll still need time to adjust to her strange surroundings.
