Description:
Helena is a young gal-- just around a year old, and SWEET as can be. She is completely BLIND, but once she gets used to her surroundings, you would never know it. She adapts very well, and can easily get around-- jumping on the couch, going up and down stairs-- she even caught a fly the other day! Many sighted cats can't even do that! The ideal home for her may be a ranch type house-- maybe not too many stairs to have to get used to. She is loving and playful-- as long a a toy makes a sound ( like crinkle and jingle balls, toys with bells, etc), she will chase them. She even likes the 'fishing rod' toys. She has complete Retinal Atrophy, and will never have vision, and may actually have been born this way. The vet and ophthalmologist give her a big thumbs up- -she's ready for a new home!
