Description:
Zoey is a very pretty 2 year old short-haired brown tabby with strong dark to almost black stripes. She is sweet, but a little shy right now due to being brought back to the shelter after having been adopted and having a home for a while. She was brought back due to a diagnosis of FIV (which she did not have when she was adopted, but apparantly contracted after having been allowed to go outside where she was bitten by a visiting FIV positive cat). FIV cats can live long, healthy lives. Their immune system is just a little weaker than other cats and they can pass FIV to other non-FIV cats. Therefore, they can only live with other FIV cats or cats who've been vaccinated for FIV. Come meet this sweet girl to see if you can give her a forever home where she will be kept indoors and safe from other outdoor hazards.
