Hi, I am Shy Anne and I was rescued from a very abusive home by Forgotten Cats. Unfortunately, the rescue came after I had been kicked around so much that I lost the use of one of my rear legs. I was very sensitive and shy even from my birth and the abuse has made me a very afraid kitty. I like to be petted by gentle quiet people and even find I am occasionally able to purr gently. Sometimes I like to sit on the top of the kitty tree in front of a window, but someone needs to help me get up there. For now, I feel safest when I'm in my cage home and have heard my current foster mom is willing to let me take my cage home with me if someone would like to give me a chance in their quiet loving home.
