I heard something! A human! A person! In my space! I can always take a nap, but I think I'd better scoot right out of my hidey corner and greet this person. I love people! People are good! People are for rubbing and snugging and purring and just looking at with sheer adoration. I'm a girl - a happy-go-lucky teenage girl - and I am looking for a home. I am also looking for food - a growing tabby needs food - but I am smart enough to know that, if I find my people, they will find food for me.
That would be much less tiresome than tracking mice and old stale sandwiches in the tunnel under the Xcel Energy Center - which, it seems, is what I was doing when the first good person said, 'Pretty little cat girl - what are you doing here!!' Why was I in the tunnel? You know - that is a very good question. I might have gone there to try out for the Minnesota Wild. But some handsome young guy with a hockey stick said, 'JoJo Girl, you've got a couple of problems - first, you're a girl. The Wild doesn't have girl players - try Edina High School - I hear their girls are pretty good. Second, um, we only have skates for folks with two feet; you seem to have four.' Oh. Well, I tried.
And I'm quite sure I'm not a very lost, very leftover Republican. I was barely a newborn kitten when Republicans were roaming the tunnels. Still haven't settled on my own personal politics. In fact, I think I'm just a playful teenage tabby that got a wee bit too creative in seeking a home. I don't want a big arena; I want a good snuggy place with my good snuggy people. I intend to grow up to be a striking long-legged model - look at my whiskers - I plan to be a long, tall girl - and the name is JoJoGirl - not Sally. So, how about $100 for my temporary playmates here - and then we go home and I become your permanent playmate? I'm scooting home with you!
PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
