Description:
SAMMY: Neutered Male Shorthaired Black with White Tuxedo. Approx. 9 Years Here’s what Sammy told us: “I’m the large and in charge guy at the shelter. It seems that I am a bit on the husky side. Not over weight really, just a bit, well, I would say-solid. I think that I’m very handsome with my totally bright white on black tuxedo coat. (Maybe if I was all black, I would look thinner. That’s it-the white makes me look bigger than I actually am. That’s my story anyway). Whatever, I’m still agile enough to leap up onto a lap, climb up onto a window sill (so what if my sides hang off over the sill a bit) and run up a cat condo like a mountain lion. I enjoy a good roll and stretch on the rug too. (Maybe yoga would be good for me.) I have a great personality and I would love a nice adult home where I will be appreciated when I take over my spot on the couch (or lap). I also get along good with most cats, and I have just recently decided that big old laid back dogs aren’t all that bad as friends either. (They make good stepping stools on the way to the couch). I am also an avid bird watcher and will make funny little noises to get their attention (and get them a little closer and invite them in for dinner). I guess indoor birds as pets wouldn’t be such a good idea for me (too hard to resist) So, how about giving me a second chance for a real home? The shelter isn’t bad, but it’s really not a home: it’s just a rest stop on the way to my forever home.”
