Safeway is a very friendly, young (about 9 months old) cat who was brought to us after spending most of a day in the Safeway parking lot. Despite wearing a collar to indicate that she had a home, nobody has come to claim this sweet cat. Safeway loves attention from anyone, even total strangers. She is generally indifferent towards other cats, and cautious around dogs. She needs some work on learning that cats do not belong on the kitchen stove, but other than that is adapting quite readily to her foster home. Safeway tested negative for Feline Leukemia virus. She has been spayed, microchipped, de-wormed, and vaccinated for leukemia, rabies, and upper respiratory infections.
