Hi !!! My name is Pooh Bear !! I am really happy my foster parents rescued me - I spent several years fending for myself outside in the elements and I even had to have 3 of my 4 canine teeth removed because I broke them defending myself from larger ( and meaner ) animals (!) I was in such bad shape, my foster mommy thought she may have to put me down and it's taken me 2 months to fully recover. But I'm doing really well now and my mommy and daddy say I'm one of the most affectionate kitties they've ever met - I just really like to be pet - I just can't get enough of it ! Unfortunately, I picked up FIV while I was on my own so I will need to stay inside - but that's fine because I've had enough of being outside! My vet says I will most likely lead a very normal and long life. I am not sick or need special medications. I am not contagious either because I am way too friendly bite another kitty, which is how FIV is spread. All I need now is a new home - and a mommy and daddy that I can call my own - furever !!!!
