Please contact Susan (susietheriault@comcast.net) for more information about this pet. Beautiful Niya - her appearance is as exotic as her name. She has unique black & white markings, and the regal bearing of an Egyptian princess. For a young cat, Niya has had a difficult life. She was abandoned when she was 'in a family way'. She found a safe place to give birth to her babies, and cared for them as best she could. Then a neighborhood cat lover discovered the little family, and brought them into the warmth of her cattery. Niya wasn't sure what to expect: she had been disappointed by the human race, and now here was a compassionate lady, offering her a spot (and her kittens) in her cattery. As you can imagine, Niya is a bit on the shy side, given her history, but once she gets to know you, and trusts you, she will climb up on your lap and make herself at home.
