Description:
As you can see in her gorgeous picture, Martina's left eye has been injured. She was brought into our vet clinic by a feral cat caregiver. The vets are not really sure exactly what happened but she can still see from the eye, as best as we can tell. Martina is super sweet and talks alot to get attention. She would not do well with small children as she is a bit shy at first. If you give Martina the family she deserves, even though the vets dont think the eye will give her trouble, if it does, HELP will be responsonible for any vet care for that eye if it happens in the future. Martina, girl, born 2009 HELP Humane Society Inc. is a non-profit organization currently run by a small group of animal lovers in Cass County, MO (just south of Kansas City). All HELP animals are treated by veterinarians, receive age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, spayed/neutered and those incoming after Oct 2005, have been micro chipped. Cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative unless otherwise stated. Dogs have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative. HELP now has a no-kill shelter. HELP does not take in any owner relinquished animals. HELP rescues stray dogs and cats from the streets. We have been told by many adopters that the reason they liked adopting form us is because we have a happy place and all the cats are the friendliest ones they had ever met. HELP feels that ALL animal’s are worth saving. We have many FIV and FeLV+ cats in our care. They will live with us until they end their life’s journey or find a permanent home. Adopting a Friend All animals are current on vaccinations, been spayed/neutered, dewormed, micro chipped and the cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and dogs heartworm tested. Come Visit Us! Our hours of operation are Tuesday - Friday, 1pm - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12pm - 5pm, closed on Monday. 511 Main St. Belton, MO 64012 816-318-HELP www.helppets.org Adoption
