Harlie and her sister, Indy, are happy, pint-sized packets of feline energy and love who need a bit more space to enjoy life than they have right now. Their owner says that they showed up as 6-week old kittens on their doorstep last fall, and have been living inside a tiny house with an older cat and a dog, that they get along well with. Harley is a lap cat. Of the two cats, she is less active. She is very healthy and energetic.
Before being taken in by the present owner, both Harlie and her sister were abused by a neighbor child. For that reason, and because they are still young and like to play rough (and have all their claws), the owner doesn't recommend Harlie or Indy for a home with young children.
These kittens have never been separated, and as you can see from their photos, love and depend on each other. They and their potential owner will be happiest if they are adopted as a pair.
In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these 'adopt from owner' pets will be provided. In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack
