My name is Aubree and I am 4 years old. I like to talk alot, so if you don't want to have lots of meaningful conversations, you should look at other kitties. It was recently discovered that I have pain in both of my hips and an air pocket in the joint of my left one. Right now, my doctor is trying cortizone shots and glucosamine tablets to see if that will help me. If not, they will have to try something else, but I will most likely need something to help with the pain for the rest of my life. I didn't use to like other cats, because my hips would hurt and I would sometimes think they did it, so I would try to take them out. I am learning to get along with other cats now that the pain is better. I even gave one a kiss on the ear, but she didn't taste very good. Still, I would probably do better to be the only cat or at the most, one or two other kitties so I can still get my privacy. I would like it a lot to be allowed to sleep with my human and have snuggle time while you watch TV or read. I would also like someone to do interactive play with me because I have a strong play drive. HELP Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue. We developed a rescue/foster/adoption program where we foster the animals in our own homes. They are treated like our own pets until suitable loving and permanent homes can be found. Our shelter is located at 511 Main Street, Belton, MO 64012. We are open Tuesday - Friday 1pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12 - 5, and closed on Monday. We can be reached at 816-318-HELP (4357), 816-797-0271 or through our website at . Not all animals do well in an adoption center situation, so many may not be at the adoption center. Please call before you come to find out if the animal you are interested in is at the shelter. If you have any questions about one of our animals, you can either call 816-318-HELP, 816-797-0271 or e-mail us at Adoption information: All our animals are current on vaccinations, tested for diseases, spayed/neutered and evaluated for temperament for the best possible match for a forever home.
