Senior animals make wonderful companions! They cats are often calm, house trained and already established in their personalities and habits. Many of these animals come to us because their owners have become too sick or elderly to care for them or they may have been discarded because a family member decides they want a younger, more energetic pet. Frontier Animal Society would like to encourage senior citizens and retired people to consider adoption of an older feline. In order to make it easy for you to adopt, if you are 60 years of age or older Frontier has drastically reduced the adoption fee to $25.00 for any senior interested in adopting a senior feline (cats over six years of age). All necessary medical care, including spaying/neutering of the pet, is done prior to adoption. This includes a health check done by a local veterinarian. Come on in and ask about our Senior Friends Program -- they are waiting!!
