We are hoping to find a 'Barn Home' or indoor/outdoor home for this cat. Please see below for why cats are looking for this type of home. HI my name is Gypsy. I am a 3 year old spayed female. I am a very tiny girl who is super playful!! I am so sweet and love your attention. Unfortunately I never learned how to use a litter box so I can not be an indoor only kitty. While I would love a home with plenty of people to play with and indoor access to receive both love and fun, I will need a safe place to stay so I can use the great outdoors for my bathroom habits. If you think you have a good setup and are looking for a lively cat I would be a purrfect match for you! There are some circumstances when cats arrive at the shelter that cannot live the typical indoor or indoor/outdoor life that we encourage. Some these are cats that have not been socialized with humans because they were born in the wild (feral) or may have been part of a hoarding situation where they did not receive proper socializing. With these types of situations, we have found it best to place these cats in barn-type homes. This is the perfect solution for these cats that will never be adopted into an indoor home environment. We know that with the right barn home, they will be watched over, loved and cared for and will lead a happy life. This is the best outcome for the cat, their owner, and the shelter.
