Hello down there! I’m Chucky, a boy who’s 4 years old. My family had to move to Seattle, and us cats moved to this strange (and sometimes scary) place. There are a lot of new felines in my life now, and I’m not too sure I understand what’s going on. I like to cuddle up with other cats, I just need some time to click, you know what I mean? You may think I’m not too social, staying up here on the catwalk, but back at my old home I was described as friendly, easy-going, gentle, and playful. I like to be brushed and adore catnip. The favorite thing that Dad liked about me was my fondness to run around chasing my tail. Dad also said that I’m great with other cats and dogs, having lived with them. Back there, I was allowed to go outside where I would catch those rodents trying to invade our yard. I’d prefer a fairly quiet home, one where I’m allowed to take care of myself and not expected to be a lap cat – it’s just not my bag, given my independence. I need some time – here at the shelter and any new environment- to accept changes. I’d rather not spend much more time learning this place though. I’d much rather get started on learning about your home – I mean, ours.
