Description:
Rex is a very special big ole yellow tom cat. A good samaritan found himon her front porch after he had been hit by a car. She brought him tothe vet and because his upper and lower jaw was split, two mandibleplates had to be implanted in Rex's mouth. Rex, a week after thesepictures were taken, is doing great... he still is recovering from thetrauma of being hit, but is eating on his own now and loves to bepetted. His ordeal is not finished... he has one leg that is totallydead, it does not cause him pain because the nerves were severed, butthe leg will eventually have to come off making him a three-leggedmiracle and thereby qualifying as a special needs boy. But anyone whohas a three-legged pet will tell you it's as if they still have the limband it is invisible... that's how well they get along without a limb.
Rex will have to recover much, much more before we do his amputation, but meanwhile he is recovering and the king is receiving guests everyday from 3pm to 7pm, if you would like to visit. Meanwhile, if you willhelp us with his expenses Rex would be very grateful, as would we.
