Description:
This is Pearl. She was found wandering the streets of Mount Lookout OH. She is a large cat, but at the time she was rescued, we thought she was pregnant. Alas she wasn't. She's just a big girl. But to find that out, we had a lot of tests done on her including an ultrasound. She's a perfectly healthy cat. She is approximately 10-11 years old. Apparently at one time she had an eye injury. Her right eye is dilated all the time but the vet said that it's nothing to be concerned about. Because Pearl is a senior cat, she doesn't jump on the furniture much, but she will like to sleep and sit next to you so, depending on the height of your furniture, she'll need a little help. You could just pick her up, or get some pet stairs. She's not real playful, but she makes a great companion anyway. She loves to be petted. Put your hand down in front of her and she'll put her head in your hand. When she sleeps with you she'll curl right in with you as you sleep. Pearl is in excellent health and is a wonderful companion cat. She's laid back and just wants to love and be loved. She gets along with other cats, but just likes her space. It would be wonderful if Pearl could bring some joy and comfort to someone's life. The best way to contact us is to Email staranimalrescue@gmail.com.
