I have had a hard life in my 6 years; it shows in my face. What good luck I had in being rescued. This nice couple in New Jersey was able to get me to the vets where I had to have surgery twice on my leg. I have a bit of a limp, but I am all healed up. I am now so very happy to have shelter and food in my foster mom's house, without having to worry about attack or finding my next meal. I am on the shy side, and am still somewhat distrustful of people, although I want very much to be loved and cared for. My foster mom pets me and talks to me, but I am just not yet sure about getting out of my cage. I will one of these days, and when I do, I hope that someone wonderful will adopt me. I am FIV+ because of being in fights outside, but I am not sick or even contagious. I can live a long, normal life as long as I am given healthy food, regular trips to the vets, and lots of TLC.
