Hi! My name is Valentina. I want to tell you what has happened to me. I have spent the past 6 months sitting in a very small, cramped shelter cage only to be passed by over and over. Is it that I'm a quite girl? I don't meow much. Then this lady came into the pound and saw me. She wasn't sure if she was going to take me and if I could say 'Take Me!!' I would have. She came back by and said 'she's it!'. My heart lifted and I knew my life would only get better from here on out. Maybe no one wanted me because I'm about 3-5 years old. I wish I could have told them that means all my crazy kitten stuff is gone and that I am a wonderful laid back adult cat that likes to take up the corner of your bed in the middle of the night or that I enjoy being called over to you and getting a nice rub. I'll come when you call me, promise. Could you maybe rub my belly too!! I like to play, don't get me wrong but I can be nice and calm too. My foster mom has a 18 month old, 8 year old and 14 year old. I love watching them do all the crazy things they have to do as a family. This is exciting! Way better than a little cage! She also has these two things, I think they are dogs but who knows. One of them is a bit crazy and runs circles around me and I just don't know what his deal is! Men! I just watch him. He's quite entertaining! I don't mind other cats. My foster mom has this insane cat that is usually quite temperamental with new kitties in her home but I turned on my charm and her and I cozy up on my foster moms bed the other day for a little nap. My foster mom also says I am good luck. Wanna know why? I have this gorgeous, perfect heart shaped black marking on my back. If someone would have taken me out at the pound, they would have felt me (sooo soft) and loved my velvety fur. Then they would have seem my gorgeous markings and said that kitty is mine!! I am spayed, up-to-date on all necessary vaccines, sweet as can be (wait.. did I already say that?? hee.. hee..) and ready for a 'rest of my life' home. I promise I will be worth it.
