Poor Lexie...she was just a kitten factory to her owners. Made to have litter after litter to sell for a few extra dollars, she was worn out. And when she finally had a litter of all black kittens which they couldn't sell, she was dumped at the shelter along with her babies. And a black mom with five black babies doesn't stand much of a chance at the shelter. But the shelter took a liking to this poor little girl and called us to see if we could take them. Now they are safe and waiting for people to open their hearts and adopt a black cat. You see - black cats are the hardest to find homes for - even though they are sleek, beautiful, little panthers.
