Grace is a female shorthair with all black fur. She is approximately 4 months old. Here’s what Grace told us: “I was a stray for a couple weeks, during all the bitter cold weather and the never ending snow storms! This was not a good time for me to be out in the elements! Who knew in my short little life that I would have to overcome so much? Eventually, I learned to follow the trail of other cat foot prints, and ended up at a house where the lady likes cats. My black coat really made me stand out against the snow! I just sat down, shivered, and gave a silent meow for help. (I’m sure my big yellow eyes helped my cause too!) My luck changed! The lady put me in her car and drove me to the shelter. When I got there, I was cleaned up: got a flea bath, nails trimmed, and all those nasty ear mites were taken care of too. Not only was I clean and happy now, but, I could hear too. Next step: a photo shoot! (It was actually a towel on top of a trash can in the hallway, but, no one needs to know, right?) Now my life is spent snuggling in someone’s arms, and purring non stop, playing with my toys, and deciding exactly what I want for my next meal. (Yes, there is a menu, sort of, if you don’t eat what they gave you, they will try something else. Sounds like a menu to this girl!) Anyway, I’m hoping that someone with a nice family will come in and fall for me. I’m so sweet and gentle. I have neat extra long thumbs that will make it easy for me to help with office work (I’m sure I can hold a pen pretty easily!) I have a great personality, and I’m also ready to be spoiled anytime now, in a real home, forever! Come check out my thumbs!” IN FOSTER CARE. PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER TO SCHEDULE A VISIT WITH GRACE.
