Description:
Belinda is a spayed female with short, all black fur. She is approximately 6 months old. Here's what Belinda told us: “I was a stray who just showed up out of the blue one day. I saw some steps leading into a house, the door was open, and I walked in. Since I looked pretty rough- hardly any fur, goopy eyes, etc, I don’t think that I was all that welcome. The lady was nice though. She shut the door, gave me some food and called the shelter. They came, put me in a carrier, took me for a ride, cleaned me up and started me on meds. Since that day (really the beginning of something great!) I have had it made: fresh food, clean water, a nice litter box (yes, I appreciate everything after being on the streets!). My fur is coming back, my eyes are bright and clear, no more itching all the time, and I have met ‘the vet’ for the first time in my life. (I really don’t remember much after I met him, I guess I fell asleep.) Anyway, through it all I have been showing everyone what a great personality I have. I love to purr and snuggle. I love to bat my toys around the cage, sometimes tossing it out through the bars. Pretty soon, I should be able to be out with the other loose cats, and really get to have fun. I’m already scoping out my favorite spots, and which toys I can scoop up. So, anyway, how about giving a former street cat a chance for a new start? Indoors, spoiled, waited on, toys all over, cat condos to climb, maybe even be able to smell some fresh catnip in the garden. (it can’t hurt to hope and dream right?)”
