'If you are gentle with me I might grant you the priviledge of stroking my soft fur.' Turtle is an extremely shy kitty who will need a gentle touch. She has shiny, short black hair. She came to us as a feral stray as an older kitten in September 2003. She resides in our community room and gets along well with other cats. She does allow herself to be touched and patted. She will need a patient person who will not invade her space, but will understand that she is happy just to watch what is happening around her.
