Description:
Chapin is about 11 months old. We think he was born towards the end of June. His fate in life was almost cut short. He found his way to the wrong house after being dumped on a golf course. The one human he happened to find had taken him to the vet to be euthanized. He was only 6 weeks old. I could not let that happen. It was not his fault and he didn't ask to be dumped there. He was neutered, front declawed, and received all of his basic vaccinations. He was tested for FIV, FIP, and FLV. All came up negative. It took him a long time to warm up to being loved by people. He was so afraid. He has come so far. He is still a little jumpy in the house, but in bed is a different story. I socialize my feral kittens by keeping them in a crate large enough for a bed, food, water, and a litter box. This way they get used to being around people but still feel safe as there is a barrier. He still is very comfy in the bedroom and loves to snuggle in bed. He also loves to chase and bite at your feet if you move them under the blankets. He is such a love. He will need a home that will understand his whole bedroom lust and will allow him to grow more into a whole house cat.
