Domino came to us when her owner was moving to a nursing home. Domino has had a history of urinary problems and needs to be kept on a special cat food. She is a nice cat, and seems to get alone with most other cats and friendly dogs. She is very overweight and we are trying to address this issue with limiting the amount of food she gets daily.
The adoption fee for this cat $65.
Please remember that every animal available for adoption through an A.P.E.-affiliated organization is fully-vetted for its age and only needs routine preventive care. Dogs older then 6 months of age are heartworm tested; all cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FELUK/FIV). All dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Every dog and cat is vaccinated (age appropriate), microchipped, and de-wormed, in addition to being spayed/neutered.
We are asking for interested parties to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire prior to lining up an appointment to visit the animal(s) at the animal's home.
For more information on our adoption procedures, (such as requiring adopters to travel to central Iowa to pick the animal up when approved to adopt as A.P.E. does not ship animals or meet people half way) or to obtain a pre-adoption questionnaire to become eligible to adopt, please visit our website's Adoption Page.
