COME MEET ME AT PHYDEAUX!! I'll be there Saturday January 24th from 12-4pm! Its located at 400 S Elliott Rd in Chapel Hill.
As of 12/16/08
Big Ollie and Bishop are a bonded pair of “found” brothers. They are not siblings but are as close as any brothers and need to stay together. Both are black and white and 4-5 years of age.
Big Ollie is tall and graceful. He is part gymnast and part cat. He does an amazing somersault routine when he wants to get your attention. This is what got him rescued from a kill shelter one day away from the gas chamber. (It would make a great video clip.) He first of all “announces” he is going to roll. Then he starts ducking his head, getting lower and lower until he’s almost standing on his head and then he rolls into a somersault and ends up on his back purring. It’s pretty amazing! He will sometimes do it if I make similar moves with my head.
Bishop is smaller and solidly built with thick, soft fur. He usually has a pretty serious expression on his face (I think it’s his markings), but he has an unexpected and delightful sense of humor. He will do something really funny when no one is expecting it.
Bishop and Big Ollie play almost every night after supper. Big Ollie “calls” Bishop, and then they start wrestling and batting and washing each other like two kittens before curling up next to each other for an evening nap. It is very sweet. Besides playing, they both enjoy looking out the windows and sleeping in the sun, also taking a quick run outside in the fresh air. They are both very affectionate and loving and will snuggle down beside you in bed if allowed.
Adoption fee is $105 for one cat/kitten and $190 for two cats/kittens. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip and registration, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment and FIV/FeLV testing. You can fill out an adoption application here!
