TJ is a boy with 'presence' to be sure. He is a big boy, with a talkative manner so he really knows what he wants, tells you what that is and then waits for action. He is truly a very affectionate good ole boy! His dad passed away and no one in that family wanted TJ, so he ended up in the shelter. He is not accustomed to sharing his quarters with all these kitties and is truly unhappy with being at the shelter. He just wants to go back home and doesn't understand what happened to the one he had for 5 years. It would be best to adopt TJ if you are looking to have just a one cat household (we believe there are some of those families out there), please consider TJ, he would really like to have some well deserved attention and time with a new family. TJ, boy, born approx 2003
HELP Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue. We developed a rescue/foster/adoption program where we foster the animals in our own homes. They are treated like our own pets until suitable loving and permanent homes can be found.
Our shelter is located at 511 Main Street, Belton, MO 64012. We are open Tuesday - Friday 1pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12 - 5, and closed on Monday. We can be reached at 816-318-HELP (4357), 816-797-0271 or through our website at www.helppets.org.
Not all animals do well in an adoption center situation. So many may not be at the adoption center. If you have any questions about one of our animals, you can either call 816-318-HELP, 816-797-0271 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Adoption information: All our animals are current on vaccinations, tested for diseases, spayed/neutered and evaluated for temperament for the best possible match for a forever home.
Our adoption fee is $85.00 for each animal.
