I am on the older side at around 11 years old, but I still have a lot of life and spunk in me! I was surrendered to Pets In Need with my sister because our family could no longer care for us. Unfortunately shortly after we were surrendered the rescue found out my sister had liver failure and we had to put her to rest. :( I am currently in a foster home. It's hard to leave your family after 9 years of being with them, but what can you do? I know they were only looking out for our best interest. They loved me tremendously, and still write to me.
