9-12-09 This little guy is finally ready to look for a home of his own. He was found after the recent devastating hail storm that hit here a few weeks ago. He had been hit in the head with the golfball+ sized hail and then just left to die. He laid out there through the next rain storm a few hours later, alive, barely conscious but unable to move. Several people saw him but NO ONE bothered to help him until a HEART member found him while looking for a lost dog. What is wrong with people??? I ask myself that everyday! Covered in fleas, he had severe bleeding behind one eye from the force and we really thought he wouldn't survive the night. But survive he did and he is a healthy, sweet, affectionate baby now! About 10/11 weeks old, he has been FeLV/FIV tested, neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, frontlined and de-wormed. Seems to like other cats and has been exposed to dogs and respectful children. Sweet baby who is looking for a lifetime, indoor only, non declawing home. Please e-mail for an application. 1st pic is shortly after rescue and the other 2 are recent.
