Description: 
Precious is a very sweet and friendly, 1 year old medium fur length kitty. He is lame on 1 rear leg. He came to us from a house where there were 27 cats living in a small space. When we received him, we took him to our vet who took X-rays. Precious's knee cap is shifted to the side of his leg and his muscles and tendon's are contracted so he cannot straighten his leg. Our vet believes that he may have been born with this condition and is not in any pain. In fact, Precious gets along quite well on his 3 good legs and loves to play and run around. Everyone in the veterinary hospital where we brought him fell in love with this little guy. We are taking him for a consultation with an orthopedic specialist to Angell Memorial Hospital on February 4. To see what the recommendation will be for his leg and future care.
