January and her dog friend were left outside on a farm when their people moved. They were there for at least 2 weeks before rescued. Someone else picked up the dog on thursday (who is now w/rescue)and left poor January there all alone. I picked her up on friday as soon as i knew what was going on. Poor little baby never had a chance. She had frostbite everywhere...not just her extremities but her back, her sides, her face and her skin was black! She purred regardless and was so happy to be safe and warm. I wanted to save her so badly but she was too sick and in too much pain. She was sent to the Rainbow bridge today 1-20-08 and is now an Angel kitty. What kind of horrible person would do this to an innocent creature? I am looking for you and will try to see that you pay for what you did! Please everyone, don't leave your pets outside in this weather as they just can't survive! Say a prayer tonight for January and all those like her, cold, hungry and alone!
