Patty is an absolute doll. She will lick you 'til your skin is all prunish. And she loves attention. Patty came to us a while back. Her original family became a much larger and busier family when 'mom' remarried. The large noisy blended family was too much for Patty. She was subsequently adopted by a couple who had just one cat, no kids and it seemed ideal ... except we found out later, the one cat was actually an alpha cat, and again Patty was in an unhappy and very stressful situation. So this time we are hoping to find a quiet home, without children (or not young ones anyways), and enough room to roam but not get overpowering. She loves to sit in the sunshine in a window to watch the world. Patty needs someone to play with her enough to give her some exercise but not a heart attack! Like many of us she seems to eat when she is frightened or stressed - which she has been much of her life. She may enjoy the company of an older, gentler Patty-friendly cat or dog or to be in a home where someone is there much f the time. If you think you might be able to give Patty the home and the love she has waited for so patiently, please come and see her. She has a kiss waiting for you!
