Snowey is a very sweet and handsome boy. He has such beautiful green eyes and a solid white coat. Snowey is a very affectionate cat, albeit a bit shy at first. He lived outside for a time before we took him in and was always friendly, but it has taken him a little while to really warm up to people. Snowey likes to groom you, licking your hand or arm, but sometimes gets carried away and nips a little bit (but does not break the skin). For this reason we don't think he would be suitable in a home with small children. He gets along very well with other cats, we don't know how he is around dogs. Snowey is a good cat and just needs someone who will give him time to adjust to his new surroundings and also a fairly calm household. Please email us for an adoption application. Our rescued cats are spayed/neutered, combo-tested for feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, given age appropriate vaccinations and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee for Snowey is $100, which helps defray these expenses. A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one. Our cats are fed only Hill's Science Diet brand cat foods.
