See OIiver - FIV+'s Homepage One morning 'out of the blue' a beautiful cat with black and white long hair 'knocked' on our front door. Friendly and hungry, this big kitty was looking for a spare room! Our veterinarian told us that 'Oliver' is a healthy, loving, neutered male who tests FIV+. We know that an FIV+ cat kept inside and cared for can have a healthy, long life. (FIV is not transmitted to dogs, people or other species and is highly unlikely to be transmitted to other cats if introduced properly.) Oliver shows trust and affection to us and will make a wonderful, loving companion.
