We fellows have been hanging together for quite some time - homeys, they call us. Once upon a time we had homes with people, but something happened. We found each other, and then we found some kind folks who would put food out for us. We've been taking care of each other, but we'd really like a real home with real people forever and ever. Fluff does most of the talking here. Binny says, 'He explains us much better than I can. I'm pretty big and pretty orange and very mellow. So I'll just take my nap and let Fluff deliver the pitch. Good night....'
OK - first things first. Do not doubt that we've been living outdoors - and that it's winter in Minnesota. Feel that soft, deep Fur. There's a reason someone named me Fluff. Pet me - and your hand disappears - up to your wrist in a snowdrift - a rather grey snowdrift. We do feel sorry for humans who can't grow such luxurious Fur. In Minnesota in the winter, you really shouldn't be leaving home without Fur. We think we understand the Arctic - and the Antarctic - and Siberia - and we do not want to be Out There any more.
Second things second - we love each other, but we love people even more. Fluff affirms that there is no such thing as too much love and attention for him. Also no such thing as too many people to bring me food. Bring Binny some, too. Eventually, he's going to wake up hungry. I put my leg way out between these bars - strictly temporary bars - to touch you and let you know how much I'd like to live in your home. Wherever you've got, fancy or not.
Third things third - yes - I, Fluff, have a special fang. It's part of my charm. Maybe a saber-tooth tiger in my family tree. Maybe a walrus. Probably the walrus - Arctic and all. But I'm so much more cuddly than a walrus. Binny is much more cuddly than a walrus, too. We are cuddly; we are warm. We want to be warm. $100 each for the two of us - in case it's cold enough to be a Two Cat Night. Homeys - for your home - Fluff and Binny.
