As times have gotten harder this year, we have noticed increasing numbers of homeless and abandoned animals as people move out and leave their cats behind. Belle is a victim of just such an event. Abandoned by her former family, this beautiful long-haired beauty was helped by a local couple who watched out for her and made sure she was fed. When Belle’s tail was seriously injured (she lost part of her tail in an accident), they reached out for help – trying to get Belle some medical care and find a new, safer home for her. After some medical treatment Belle was placed in a foster home to allow her time to heal. We have discovered that Belle is a shy but sweet and affectionate 2-3 year old and is now looking for a happy and secure forever home.
