Description:
Hi- I'm KENDAL! I am a beautiful petite 5 year old female calico. I am spayed, up to date on shots, front declawed and house/litterbox trained. I greatly enjoy my indoor life! And I must admit, I love having a treat of Fancy Feast wet food from time to time (it's my favorite)! I will do best in a home with one or no other cats. I also prefer a home with no dogs or children. I had a very tough start to life and I was found as a stray on the streets- and I had nearly given up on life. The wonderful people at Advocates 4 Animals rescued me just in time! My loving personality comes out when I am in a calm environment and when I have an owner who is devoted and committed to me-- for the duration of my life. Although I will be shy when I first meet you and it will take me some time to adjust to my new home- I am VERY sweet and loving once I get to know you! I enjoy being held and love to give you kisses on your nose! I also love to snuggle. If you would be a good match for me- please contact the great people at Advocates 4 Animals and let them know! I am patiently waiting to find my forever home. ***Please note, cats are extremely routine oriented pets. It may take 2 week to fully adjust to a new home environment. Please remember to be patient when bringing a new feline into your home. *** Please contact Advocates 4 Animals to begin the adoption process. 1. A phone or e-mail interview will be conducted 2. If approved, an Advocates 4 Animals member will contact you and schedule a 'meet & greet' with the adoptable pet The 'meet & greet' will be held in your home. 3. At that time of the home visit, we will assess if the pet(s) is a good match for both the family/individual adopting the pet and the home environment. Please note: -All individuals living in the home must agree to adopt the pet into their home. All members of the home should be present during the 'meet & greet'-- including additional pets who live in the home. -If Advocates 4 Animals determines that the pet is not a good fit for the potential adopter, this will be discussed at the time of the home visit. -Every pet is different. Some pets have highly specialized needs (ie: type of environment, other pets, etc.) while others adjust easily to various environments. Felines typically take 2+ weeks to begin adjusting to their new home. All pets have been housed in foster homes while they wait to find a home to call their very own. All adoptable rescue pets are up to date on shots, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and have been spayed/neutered. -Advocates 4 Animals requires an adoption donation fee of $50.00. The adoption donation assists us in rescuing and rehabilitating additional homeless pets. Our organization is run solely on donations and with volunteers. Without your support we could not continue our efforts! Please contact Advocates 4 Animals and introduce yourself. Please be sure to let us know which pet you are interested in potentially adopting. We will respond within 48 hours of your request. Thank you for adopting a rescue pet!
