Patches is a sweet and beautiful 8 year old female calico cat. Patches was abandoned at Riverside Vet Hospital. She had had urinary tract issues that had gone unresolved, and subsequently those became behavioral issues, so she had been urinating outside the litter box.
Riverside reports that she seems to be past her issues, and is available for adoption to a loving home. Patches is sweet and friendly ( a real lap cat), likes other cats, dogs and children. She is spayed, is current on all shots, front-declawed and is healthy.
She has been rooming at Riverside for awhile now, so they would really like to find a good home for her soon. They will allow an adoption to occur on a trial basis, so that if Patches displays the same tendency to urinate outside her box, she can be returned to Riverside.
If you would like to give Patches a second chance, or know of someone who would be willing to do so, please contact Terri Lester or the other folks at Riverside Vet Hospital at 614-766-1222 to ask about Patches or to arrange to meet her.
