Description:
Looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family? Look no further than the American Shorthair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, quiet disposition and amiability with children and dogs. The American Shorthair is America's own breed, whose ancestors came to North America with early settlers from Europe. Most notable of Diimples characteristics (after you get past her little round face) is her silver color on a sterling silver background. She is truly a star in the feline world. If you think her face looks sweet, she is even sweeter in person. Each and every animal here is very unique and special to us. We are dedicated to finding each one the most suitable home. So for some cats that means a much longer stay - as sometimes they are not as outgoing, pretty or have as perfect manners as they could. And because we are a no-kill shelter, we keep them until we find that home.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++We also have a great adoption matchmaker who will gladly take your profile and match you or your cat with the right companion.
