A 20 year plus, male/female (?) orange winged amazon who is especially fearful of hands. He was rescued from a home where he was kept in a basement, with no natural light/windows 3 years ago. He was very wild and the surrendering family worked with him quite a bit. He still does not want to step up or have you touch him much, but he will take treats from you and is definately NOT aggressive. He actually will return to the inside of his cage (from the top play area) when you tell him, 'in your cage' and offer him a peanut. Once you gain his trust, you can pet his feet and chest inside the cage and can hold him on your chest. Albie has tons of potential for the person willing to take the time with him. He was given up due to husband's allergies/breathing problems.
