A pregnant Pit Bull was abandoned in an apartment when her owners moved out and left her behind. They didn't tell anybody they were moving out or that a dog was in the apartment. They just locked her in and left. When the landlord stopped receiving rent and realized he hadn't seen the tenants in 1 1/2 months he went into the apartment and was shocked to find a momma dog and her puppies. Animal control was called, and after spending 5 days in the shelter they were on the list to be euthanized. The vet just couldn't bear to do it so he called us. We came and got them out and into a foster home, and they're all doing well. The puppies aren't ready to go to new homes yet, they need to stay with us for another 3-4 weeks. But they are available for pre-adoption, which means you can pick out which puppy you like and can take him or her home in a few weeks. A completed application, references and a home check are required to be able to view the puppies. We want each of these pups to go to a wonderful home. They will be spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped before going to their new homes. Additional dewormings or vaccinations may be needed depending on their age when they leave us. This pup is Panda Bear. He's the big boy in the litter. He's the pup in charge, and he always has a toy in his mouth ready to play.
