Murphy is a 1yo male GSD mix who was rescued from the side of the road in Alabama. He was so grateful when our volunteer stopped and picked him up on that cold January night! Murphy is a great big, energetic, klutz of a dog who loves everyone. He is still very young and has a lot of puppy left in him, so he needs an adopter with time to spend training him and giving him the attention he deserves. Murphy is friendly with a high activity level. Loves to run and play outside; Likes to go for walks; Using a prong collar during walks helps curb his tendency to pull on the leash. , Loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed.Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 12 years and older, just because he's so big and active. Housebroken and crate-trained. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking.
