I''ve had a couple homes in my life so far, so I would love to find my forever home soon! I''m very friendly and was good with children in my previous home, but because of my size and energy level I would do best with kids that are a little bit older. The vets here have discovered that I have a luxating patella, which basically means that my knee cap slips out of place sometimes. It''s easily managed through pain meds and exercise that''s not too hard on my joints. In the future I may need some more specialized care.Because I''m still a puppy, I have training required with my adoption so that I can grow up as a happy, well-behaved dog for you! The classes are once a week for seven weeks, here at the shelter. The classes teach me things like sit, stay, come when called, and how to walk nicely on a leash. I''ll learn how to learn and you''ll learn how to properly teach me, so that I can learn all sorts of new things! It''s also a really great bonding and socialization experience!
