Sam is a 2yo purebred male cocker spaniel who was rescued as a stray in rural Arkansas. Sam is friendly and well-socialized with a medium activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Not recommended for cats because he likes to chase them. Great with other dogs. Recommended for children 12 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Knows basic commands. Housebroken and crate-trained. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking. Sam has a congenital immature cataract in one eye but the vet says it does not need any treatment nor is it anything to worry about. When he came to us Sam had heartworms but he was treated and cured without complications and is now ready for adoption.
