Meet Jewels...she came into rescue with her brother Romeo. They were both turned into a kill shelter in Louisiana. Jewels is a very sweet girl. She moved right into our house like she had been here all her life. She is up to date on her shots, however, Jewels is Heartworm Positive. She will have to wait a little while to get rid of those nasty worms because there is a shortage on the drugs used to treat them. If you would like to adopt Jewels and live in our area we can cover her treatment cost once the drugs are available. If you would like to give her a forever home or sponsor her treatment please contact her foster mom.
