Description:
Sam is a 5 yr old neutered male GSP. He is housetrained but unknown in a crate. The current owner keeps him in an outdoor kennel and brings him indoors when possible. He could use some leash work as he does pull when walking. As with all of our GSPs, we highly recommend an obedience class upon adoption. He came to this owner from a hunting preserve where he was supposedly trained to hunt. We have not confirmed this ability. He was not at the preserve long and his family prior to that had to move into an apartment so could not take him with them. So he went from a family pet, to a hunt preserve to an outdoor kennel. He is not fond of his outdoor kennel and would love to be a family pet again. Sam knows the command 'sit'. Rescue is currently seeking a permanant or a foster home for Sam.
