Little Red is an 8 to 9 month old male that looks like a Golden Retriever mix. He was found freezing cold and teeth chattering near a freeway entrance. Little Red has beautiful wavy red hair with a touch of black on his back and tail. Little Red has obviously been inside a house as he is calm when in the house. He also rides well in the car and walks fairly well on a leash. He even let us bathe him the first day we found him. Little Red was nervous and scared when he first met the other dogs in his foster home. In one day, he began to play with them and now he is best buddies with a small 10 pound Terrier mix. Little Red also likes young children. He is just now learning his basic commands so he will need a lot of personal attention and training to mold him into a wonderful family pet and companion. He is very smart and is learning quickly from his foster family.Little Red is now in a long-term foster home with two older adults, Australian Shepherds and one very large cat and is doing well with the transition.
