For the Pets: Before adoption, the pets are neutered, immunized and heartworm tested. For the People: once you express an interest, we will send you an adoption contract (to help us get to know you better and if this pet would be a good fit in your lifestyle). We'll probably call your vet for a reference. The Adoption fee is just enough to cover the vet fees for your new pet. This goes towards helping another pet in need - so in adopting, you save two lives!
