Gertie is a very soft, cuddly, 5 year old dilute calico. She is quiet, not really into other cats much, and she's very laid back and mellow. She never fights with the other cats here. She is fine with them as long as they don't expect her to play with them. She LOVES the dogs. Gertie requires a quiet, peaceful home because she is easily startled by loud noises and unexpected movements. A home with young children yelling and running through the house would probably be her worst nightmare. Any calm home would be fine. She'll camp out on your lap and she's also a great snuggler in bed. Gertie likes to play in water and she'll eagerly wait for you to get out of the shower so she can hop in there and drink any drips coming out of the faucet. If you think Gertie might be a good fit for your family...please let me know! Gertie is spayed and current on all vaccines...so all she needs is a new human best friend to take good care of her.
