Sorry, pardon me. Oh, don’t mean to sound presumptuous, but I’m eyeing that hand of yours. Do you think if I come over there that you could scratch me? Could I sit on your lap, if I’m not being too much of a bother? Hi there. I’m Diddy. I’m a humble 3 year old guy who’s just trying not to take up too much space. I came to this shelter with my friend Chloe, but I can’t tell you how far back we go. See, we were found in the basement of a woman’s house and her landlord wouldn’t let us stay. She kept us for one month and that was pure bliss. What a kind hearted soul she was, to take us in like that. We sure did appreciate her kindness. Now we’re living in a multi-cat room at the Animal Rescue League. I’ve become great friends with Merlin here, just following him around and cuddling up to him. I cannot believe my good fortune. Life keeps getting better and better. It will be best, though, once I’m home with you and, hopefully, one of my good buddies here (Merlin or Chloe would be super). I’m friendly with people, however, I apologize, it takes me a while to get comfy and be free from fear.
